Lets see how this goes...

I've been wanting to start a blog for sometime now. Since we've moved to Texas I know that I've lost touch with alot of friends and haven't been the best at calling family. I hate the phone :( So lets see how this goes and if I can keep up with it!

This weekend was nice and relaxing :) we finally bought our plane tickets home for Christmas. I really wish we could make it home for Thanksgiving but like my mom said " We just need to start our own traditions" So thats what we will do. Ill make all of the staples but instead of turkey we will have ham (we're just not turkey kind of people"

Friday Bri sold his 10th car for the month...phew that was cutting it close. And because of that sale we met a great couple Eric and Erin. Their from Waco and just moved to Plano so they dont know many people here. They've been together almost five years too! So we hung out at the their house and talked well into the night.

Saturday Bri had to work from 8:30 to 9 at night so I was on my own for the day. I made an appointment to get my nails done and it was sooooo relaxing! Thanks Yan :) After that I went to rent some movies and grabbed Arbys for lunch. I rented The Book of Eli, Robin Hood, To Save A Life, and Sex and the City 2. I dont know why Sex and the City got a bad review I thought it was cute :) So I watched movies all day and worked on Save the Dates. These Save the Dates are going to be the death of me. Who knew trying to get addresses from people would be such a pain! Ive given up at this point. If you still havent sent me your address sorry your just not getting one! Hopefully Ill have them out by the end of the week.

Sunday if my one day I get Bri all to myself :) We didnt sleep in which was a shock! But we just lazed around the house until about 12 and then as a treat for Bri for having a good month we went and bought him a new pair of oakleys (and of course I bought a couple of things too) Oh and Sunday was my little sissys birthday the big 18. She's away to school in Marquette Mi :( I miss her so much. Its crazy that the distance between us has made us so much closer. I have a nice box of goodies going her way. Bri and I had lunch at California Pizza Kitchen and then went home to watch a movie. We decided it was time to go to the store and the first thing on our list was a pumpkin carving kit. A cartful later and wouldnt you know it we forgot the kit lol. So this year the pumpkins did not get carved. But it was a great day and I made a delish dinner of bbq chicken topped with mushrooms and cheese. Mac and Cheese, green beans, and rolls. Bri rated it a high 9 lol!

So that was our weekend and my first blog post. I promise posts in the future will not be this long ;) Have a great Monday. And if you havent gotten your address to me you better...or else lol
