its been a while...

Ok so it has only been a week :) Theres not much going on right now. Work is hectic its our busy time. It seems everyone wants to have surgery before the holidays! Heres a run down of the past week:
             
                   Tue: Went to the ER at 5 in the morning
                   Wed: Nada/Recovery from ER
                   Thur: Dinner with Eric and Erin at Urban
                            Crust
                   Fri: Everyone started recieving their save
                         the dates :)
                   Sat: day full of movies including Pride and
                          Prejudice, Grown Ups and Old Dogs
                   Sun: Woke up at 6am!!!Blah day groceries
                           and more movies
                   Mon-Wed: Nada (see I told you my life is a
                                   bore)

But Im so glad everyone is recieving their save the dates. It seems everyone loves them in my sissys words " Your save the dates are magnets. Mind. Blown."

Im extremly excited for my sissy to visit in December heres a quick run down of some of our events on the schedule:

The Weekend

This weekend was nice and relaxing :)

Saturday Bri had to work from 8:30-7pm so I had the day to myself. I started by picking up another batch of save the dates. Stopped at Sallys to get some dark hair color.

And picked up some movies. At home I popped in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. 5 minutes into the movie I realized i had already seen it. Bummer but I watched it anyways and finished addressing the save the dates. Bri called me to tell me his truck was done. I couldn't wait to see it. He had a leveling kit and new tires put on! It looked great!

After Bri got out of work we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner thanks to Five Star Ford of Plano( Bri's dealership) whenever he sells anything extra on a vehicle he recieves spiff money!

Sunday Bri and I headed to Grapevine Mills Outlet mall. We found him a winter jacket. Picked up a couple things to add to my sissy's bday box (which is very late in getting in the mail), three pairs of jeans, two pairs of leggings, and a sweater dress!

We went home and watched Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. I wanted to refresh my memory before reading the last book and seeing the next movie. After the movie I talked Bri into going to Kohls to look for some boots and a leather jacket. Unfortunatly their boot selection was horrible but I did find a leather jacket and a pair of sunglasses.

We are not rich by any means so most would think buying all of this is crazy but I got a bonus at work for coordinating a two OR room :)

Oh and the save the dates are in the mail and out of my life!!!

Its SNOWING ?!?!?!

HAHAHA not in Texas :) Im so glad Im not in Michigan. Its cold here but next week it will be in the high seventies so Im not complaining. I do need to get a coat though!

So my weekend will consist of movies, cleaning, and shopping :) Also Bri is getting a leveling kit and big ol' tires (Nitto Grapplers) Im a sucker for big trucks so Im excited.

Last night I asked Bri how dinner was ( I just made bean and cheese burritos lol) He said "Your name should be cambells cause it was mm mm good, dont quote me on that" I laughed and said not a chance!

Well its time to get back to work. Ive got my Kohls coupon so Im ready to get the heck outta here!

Hey hunny....

Today I texted bri "Hey hunny I need some boots, my toesies are cold" He replied "burr cold" lol he's such a cutie. I think one of my weekly posts should be "Ashlee wants" :) Boots are definitly a need this week maybe not both brown and black but I would like a pair of each. Since I left my boots in Michigan Bri has given me the go ahead :)

On to last nights game. IT WAS AMAZING!!! The stars played the penguins. And any team that plays the penguins knows they have to play hard and dirty ;) At one point in the game there were 4 guys from each team in the penalty box! Talk about dirty! The Stars won 5-1 woohoo by the end of the game Bri said he would buy a stars jersey. I gave him a dirty look and said "Never!! But I might buy a tshirt" Im a die hard Wings fan, there will never be another teams jersey in MY closet.

Real quick before I return to work...

My dinner last night was rated a 10!!

Tonight we are going to the Stars vs. Penguins game because the Doc I work for is awesome and happens to be the Doctor for the Dallas Stars Hockey team!

Tomorrow we are hanging out with our new friends Erin and Eric :)

Quick rant...

Just a quick rant while I gather my sanity... Sometimes theres just not enough work hours in a day! I know crazy thinking over here. But seriously! I have so much on my plate this week! Tomorrow is new patient day and I have way to many charts to get ready. Thursday is post op day and i have 50 charts to get ready! And I running five different directions for the doc. Ok enough time wasting. I love my job, I love my job....
